The mini-i Pro 4 goes beyond the classic function of a digital-to-analog converter. In addition to an extensive selection of digital inputs, it offers comprehensive network streaming capabilities. At its heart is the specially developed MA Player operating system, complemented by the MA Remote app for convenient control. This combination makes the mini-i Pro 4 a powerful streaming hub for high-resolution audio.

At the heart of the device is the latest ES9039Q2M D/A converter chip from ESS.

In conjunction with carefully selected components, precise circuit optimization, and a well-thought-out layout, the mini-i Pro 4 delivers an extremely high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and minimal distortion—ideal conditions for detailed, musical playback at the highest level.

Headphone amplifier with flexible connection options

Two headphone outputs – one 6.35 mm unbalanced and one 4.4 mm balanced connection – offer optimal connection options for different types of headphones. The fully balanced amplifier circuitry ensures reduced interference, more power, and overall improved sound quality – even with high-impedance headphones.

Intuitive operation with touchscreen and app

A high-resolution 3.46-inch touchscreen not only displays all relevant information and metadata clearly, but also allows for simple, direct operation. In addition, the device can be conveniently controlled via the MA Remote app or the included RM5 remote control.

MA Player – the heart of streaming

The MA Player is a streaming operating system developed by Matrix Audio that supports numerous standards such as Roon Ready, DLNA/UPnP, AirPlay 2, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, Audirvana, NetEase Cloud, and more. This provides access to a wide range of high-resolution network streaming services that can be operated via smartphones or tablets in the home network.

In addition to basic playback functions, the specially developed app can be used to perform system updates, adjust hardware settings, and use music services such as TIDAL, Qobuz, Sony Select, QQ Music, HIGHRESAUDIO, and Internet radio – all directly via iOS and Android devices.

Music from your home network or USB – easily accessible

The mini-i Pro 4 automatically detects music files on connected USB storage devices and NAS systems. The app creates a clearly arranged music library sorted by albums, artists, genres, composers, performers, and more.

HDMI ARC – for TV sound in hi-fi quality

Thanks to HDMI ARC, the mini-i Pro 4 can be connected directly to a TV or projector. In addition to clear, detailed audio playback (up to 24-bit/192 kHz), CEC allows you to control volume, power, and playback via your TV – a real upgrade for your home theater.
